the pregnancy hormone level is still there even though you miscarry. I miscarried 11/8/04 at 3months and the pregnancy level said I was pregnant for 5 weeks after losing my baby.

Sometimes you can have bleeding/spotting with pregnancy and not necesarilly lose the baby. If you did have a miscarage it is possible to still have a positive test for a while until your Hcg levels go back down to normal. There are other things that can cause a woman to bleed and have positive pregnancy tests including hormonal disorders. Definatly get into a doctor as soon as you can and good luck!

Yes definitely! You would have a positive if you'd had a recent miscarriage, up to a month or even longer after. And, until you go to the doctor there's no way of determining whether or not you've actually had a miscarriage. You may not have. For your sake, you should really go to the doctor, you may need a D&C or you might just be pregnant! Very important that you're seen asap. In fact, I highly reccomend that you just go to the emergency room.

I had a miscarriage about 3 months ago. I went to the doctor they took a sonogram and nothing was there, when they took a pregnancy test it was still positive .... So just to be safe they still performed a D&C just to make sure my system was totally clean.... So you should go see the doctor as soon as possible because you may be at risk for an infection....

Hormones can still be in your system and cause it to show up positive. You need to try to get into a doctor somewhere. Maybe a family member can get you into one a little further away.
