do I take the fun class first? or the practical one? (and maybe do fun later on??)?

I'm trying to decide between classes that are only offered once a year.
Should I take the practical ones for my major? or the ones that mean a lot to me and would feed my soul? assuming I don't HATE them --entirely possible. If I take the fun ones they would count but it would push my graduation time back a semester at least.

Go ahead and graduate. I took a lot of classes that looked like fun and looked very interesting - none of them ended up being so. Acting was basically group therapy, and the medical ethics course was WAY to religious for my taste.

I made sure that I had a balance of the two, or at least one course/semester that may have had nothing to do with my major, but one that I found to be fascinating. What difference will it make in the major scheme of things if you graduate one semester later than originally anticipated? Can you take courses during the summer that might help to balance things out and still graduate "on time?" I think that it is very important to listen to your heart. You will make the right decision in the end, if you do so. Good luck!

Take the class that gets you out of school earlier. You can always go back and take the fun class later. Once you are working, having a fun outlet will be more important to you than it is now...

And the financial benefits of graduating sooner can be significant. You may not notice it, really, but if you could compare: "where will I be in 3 years if I graduate in 8 months, vs graduating in 13 months?", you would most likely see that your financiual siutation is MUCH better by graduating sooner.

Take the class that will feed your soul, you will feel much better in the end. One more semester won't make much difference.

It depends on whether you want to graduate with your cohorts. If that doesn't matter to you, and you can afford another semester - go for it!
