Both of his parents were like under 5'9......Just wondering if anyone knew anything special he might of done....??

He probably had a larger 2nd growth spurt. Males don't stop growing until their early to mid 20's. So he just probably hit another growth spurt, which happened to be a big one. And luckily he did, or he wouldn't be the greatest player as he is today.

Genetics. Even if his parents weren't that tall, it is possible he could have inherited his height from his grandparents.

Jordan also has an older brother, Larry. On certain occasions, the second-born (Michael) are the tallest in the family.
