I worked in a pub in London for three years and though I no nothing of Canadian pub prices I will tell you this, make it simple but the best quality. This is very important little pub or not. Mke as much from scratch as you can and people will spread the word. make it little better than what people can ge at home and the will stay at home.
Don't make fries make chips or potatoe wedges. Fries you get at McDonalds.Big deal! Chilli quality beef. Soup and burgers if bought in try to get the closest to home made as possible.Fewest additives near to 100% beef as possible. Hot dogs need not be rusk, rusk, rusk and as for the bun find the one you would be happy to eat at a pub when sober.

Pricewise i would say that sandwiches should be a third of the price of a main meal, desserts half. Burgers with chips qualify as a main.

What will the market bear in your area? Try to stay competitive with the other food providers in your area so as not to out-price yourself completely. Charge depending on the toppings. Sorry, I am unfamiliar with your currency in Canda but if you shop carefully and frugally for your raw goods you can make a little more on the back-end with the buyer.

Make the food free.

Charge for the drinks.

You will attract more people, sell more drinks.

The crowd will be less drunk and easier to deal with from the food.

You will get the food money back in tips.

If you do charge, make it 2 or 3 dollars.
