Isn't it always a good idea to put self-admitted criminals on trial?
Does the US stand to gain anything by allowing someone to admit to breaking the law, and then not even put them on trial because they claim (without any legal support) that their position entitles them to break the law at will?
If Bush is put on trial (impeached = trial) and found not guilty, so be it. But not even putting him on trial sends the wrong message. It tells the world that the US doesn't care about the rule of law, and that we allow those in power to break the law at will.
Hardly a justification for the US claim to depose other dictators.

I have to laugh. Democrats AND Repubs are always always forming "committees." It's one of their favorite words: "committees", along with the word "investigation". Makes them feel important.
But you know we all sit back and talk about and mull over and debate about Bush and the things he's done., which at this juncture have only served to create more enemies against us. He prides himself over the fact that nothing major has happened in the United States since 911, but we must always be reminded that the threats are still alive and well. As Bush has often said, these people are 'patient'.
In the interim, we all know that Bush waged war on one lie after another. And we as US citizens will pay for those lies for a long time to come,
Perhaps we as citizens should be encouraging our government to follow the law, fairly and balanced.
George W. Bush is a Lame duck. Save his enforcing or attempting to enforce Martial Law as a result of an existing 'war' or a new 'war', he is replaceable.
We must remember that.

All criminals should suffer the consequences of their behavior. The reputation of the United States of America was once sterling because oppressed people all over the world believed that this was a land of true justice. Today, it is the land of plunderers and sanctioned torture. Bush will stand trial.

No, it wouldn't help our standing, but at least we will have served notice that the man in charge is subject to the same laws he has tried to circumvent, just like Richard M. Nixon and Bill Clinton. We survived those debacles, and we will survive this as well. As far as your unfair characterization of Democrats, the process is fair and bipartisan. You need to grow up.

Hitler's attack on Poland and Bush / Blair attack on Iraq bear many similarities. The reported 650,000 innocent civilian lives lost in Iraq along with the raping of young Iraqi girls and killing their families by American soldiers are comparable to the Nazi excesses on Jews and the Gypsies.

Clinton was a cheap,power hungry,fame seeking,wanna be in a preadator's chatroom kinda butthole!
We should be proud he was our president?
I would rather be a true American & fight for what is right & moral, than to honor a sex-addict,thrill seeking craphead who cares for no one but himself!
Go ahead and make fun of a simple man who wants nothing but the best for us & to show those cruddy fanatics we won't stand for our ppl to be blown up at work or our children to be terrorized!
Be very glad I am not president!
I would have nuked them all & anyone who said squat about it!
I'm sick of all these unpatriotic, selfish buttwads who have no support for our morality or what this nation is supposed to stand for!We let thousands,no,MILLIONS come over here to make a better life & we get used & abused & our citizens murdered at their desks!Wait until you are watching Nutthumpers on Parade on your PPV Porn one night & a bunch of raghead Murderers for Allah, come crashing into your home while you have your "gun" in your hand instead of your mind in the right place!
