I have a gay cousin, and I always knew he was gay from the moment I met him. I was 5 years old at the time, he was 7. We're still great friends. What do you people think?

People are born gay. It is scientific fact that there are biological differences between homosexual and heterosexual people.

Yes. I was. I knew from the age of 6 before I even knew what sex or romantic relationships were. Who would choose this as a lifestyle? Don't get me wrong, I am proud of being gay and wouldn't want to change if I could, but that is after years of a process of self acceptence. Given the state of our social atmosphere, had I had a choice early on, I may have chosen to be straight. But it wasn't a choice. I was born this way and I am grateful and happy.

Everyone has different opionions. Some people say you are "born gay". Others say that you can "turn gay". People like me don't know what to think.

opinion is yes.
the scientific accepted evidence agrees, but there is no consensus.
common thought is that a hormonal imbalance in the third trimester is a likely cause.
i would state thatit is a choice as many bigots wish to state, is far less likely.
after all, how many people would choose to be an outcast+

If you ask a gay person this question, you'll almost always get a "Yes." If you ask a conservative Christian this question, you'll almost always get a "No." That's why people are still asking this question. But isn't it pretty obvious who might actually know the right answer?

I definitely think the same as you. I knew my mom's boyfriend's son was going to be gay from the time he was 2. He was just VERY feminine.

yes, we are. just like people are born straight. or born black, or white, or blue-eyed or brown eyed. it's genetic. I may have been in denial until I was in my late teens, but, looking back....I was always attracted to women, never to men.
