When you get to 13 billion years old you stop celebrating or even counting your birthdays and like many people the universe doesn't tell people when its birthday is so they don't buy it rubbish presents
Hell what could you buy the universe for its birthday even if you knew when it was
And the candles would cost a fortune!!

Seriously, the 13.7 billion years has an error of about 200 million years. Also, the Earth, which determines the length of the day and the year, did not exist for the first 8 billion years of the Universe. And when the Earth did form, it had a longer year and a much shorter day. How are we supposed to keep track of all that stuff, just to have a birthday party?

There are about 100 million stars to represent a candle for every year's existence.
All the others are pikers, however. Its birth date must be November 11 because...
My Mum told me as I grew to be an adolescent Prat that if people took my own self estimates seriously, the universe centres on me!

It was yesterday, you missed it?
We had a great party, everyone hugged each other and said lets forget our differences and start again. Of course, we woke up this morning with huge hangovers and thought 'sod that I'm not changing for no-one'.
We're having another party when its 13.8 billion years old.

We actually don't know how old the universe is. The scientists claim that they know how old the universe is and what it is made of, but actually we don't know half of a percent of what is in the universe and what it is made of.
