I was about 8 years old. When I asked my mother about him, she informed me that I should believe in Santa as long as I can and not tell my secret, so he would still show up with gifts. That was the last conversation I ever had with my parents about Santa and YES he came to my house every year untill the day I moved out!
When I had children of my own he started coming back to bring them gifts too.
I still "believe" today and I'm 39 year old:)

I just had this feeling that my parents were scamming me on the whole christmas thing. I believe I was 9. I came right out and told my mom there wasnt any Santa. She told me not to tell any of my friends I knew.

I found out when I was about 11. I mean it wasn't my parents that told me. It was the kids at school. I mean Christmas would roll around and kids would say Santa isn't real. The kids told me Santa wasn't real, my parents just confirmed it. I guess my parents felt like it was time I knew the TRUTH about Christmas.

Well, when I was about 7 I woke and saw my brother putting presents under the Christmas tree so for a while I thought he was Santa morphed into my brother. Then a couple of years ago my parents had me put out my sisters' and my presents so I guess i kind of learned thorugh experience.

I'm four hundred and fifty years old, well around there; record keeping when I was born was poor at best. Now what the heck is this nonsense that Santa Claus isn't real? Come on, enough all ready!!!!! I refuse to accept this, I've seen the Dude in a mall just the other day outside of Macy's! I can prove it, my Girlfriend and I got our picture taken with the fat son of a bit....... well any way we got our picture taken with Him, so there! Jeez, these rumours are crazy in here!

W-what? S-s-santa's n-not real? *Bursts into tears* Why, God, WHY?! I didn't know that until you told me! Hehe...just kidding.
I found out when I was 7. I caught my sister filling up the stockings in the middle of the night, when I was trying to wait for santa. I got angry at her and wouldn't speak to her for a week. But I'm over it.

I lost a tooth in 2nd or 3rd grade, and was going to leave it under my pillow to see if the tooth fairy left money even if I didn't tell my parents. I swore my sister to secrecy, but she blabbed and the test failed. But the seed of doubt had been planted - and once the Tooth Fairy is dead, Santa is not far behind.
