I live in Wales, and gloves don't work. It doesn't help that it's more down the right side of my body than the left either.

Don't know if i should go the doc's with it coz don't wanna waste their time.

well, am a medical student. if ur hands and legs feel icy cold in cold weather, and they r usually either red or blue, then the blood vessels of ur extremeties get vasoconstricted (narrower). so there is no enough blood supply to ur hands. In severe cases it could lead to death of ur finger tips and ur finger tips could shed off. but this is rare. mild cases could be treated by putting ur hands in warm water and using gloves. if this doesnt make u feel better, then u have to visit a doctor ASAP. Good luck.

You know what, it's funny. When it's incredibly cold out, all my friends ask, "How the heck can you wear that!!!" I tell them I'm not cold at all because I guess it's just who I am. When it's incredibly hot out, I try not to think about the weather too much and wear whatever. So basically, I'm never always cold or always hot. I'm neutral about it. It's like I don't feel anything, it's just weather.

You may have Raynaud's disease or you may be low in iron. I was always cold and a blood test showed I was chronically low in iron. Also, skipping meals will make you feel cold. That is why people with eating disorders are always cold. Good luck, I hated being cold too. It's awful. Don't take Sudafed or similar medication, it will make you feel colder. It's a vasconstictor.

BTW, I don't think its bad circulation. If that was the case, that would mean you should get your heart checked. You should go to the doctor and get a thyroid function test too.

You probibly have poor circulation. I know that when the weather gets chilly here my hands and feete are always cold. They are the last parts of your body to get blood, so if your circulation is bad then they feel cold all the time. You need normal blood flow to promote body heat.

Have a blood test to check you're not anaemic. That can make you feel cold a lot too. Check the redness in the bottom of your eyes. Should be a deepish red, if its pale or pink, then you're probably anaemic. Some iron tablets should put it right, but in my case i was so anaemic i had to have a blood transfusion.

I get the same feeling as well. Your best best is to get your blood work done to see if your anemic I might have spelled that wrong. I have to take iron pills to help my blood. Go to a doctor first and have some test done. Take care and be safe.

I find a hot shower's the best way to warm up, probably due to poor circulation or thin blood,
