I have experience in teaching (but my certification is expiring), production/factory work, good typing skills, knowledge of Windows, customer service/sales experience, 5 years of college...what should I do now?

What makes you happy outside of work? Is it possible to use what you enjoy plus your skills to find a career that fits both?

With your experience, you seem like someone who would be a great career counselor, helping others to find jobs that they might fit into and training people basic job and interviewing skills. Maybe even open a temp agency of your own, matching other's skills to company's needs?

Whatever you decide, good luck, it seems like you've got a lot going for you!

In my experience, what it comes down to is....
Do you want a desk job, or do you want to be up on your feet?
Do you want to work with people?
Would you want to take more school?
Did you like teaching?
Just ask yourself a few questions and figure some things out first.
THEN you can get to work on specifics. My personal suggestion would be to either find a teaching job you liked (I'm getting certification now), or to go back to school and get a degree from a two year college where you could be an X-ray technician or something. That stuff pays really well on very short training. Also, you might try being a receptionist. Those jobs can pay pretty well for the specific experience you have. That is, if you want to sit at a desk.

Lisa I aint sure about your interests but according to my uncle person's job should be one of or like his hobby.

I enjoy computers/internet and have always been thinking about developing something related to that, and guess what??
here i am launching my own auction website to compete ebay in India in next few days..

Bottom line is.. Do what interests you and you will enjoy doing. Not that every day you wake up sulking about and saying.. Oh god!! another day at work.

Well what did you go to college for? What do you enjoy doing without getting burnt out? Do a little soul searching and you will figure it out. Good luck!

You should become a "laughter therapist." You go around and make people laugh. Old people, depressed people, people who suffer from PTSD. It's a fun job that can be very rewarding.
