It is possible.

Depending on where your gas meter is can make it easier or more difficult. Many houses I have lived in had the meter right a the house. If that is the case, they would have to tap in down stream of the meter and you should be able to see where it was done.

Also you should be able to turn off all of your gas users and see if the meter is still recording gas usage. If that is the case call the gas company.

Possible, yes, but highly unlikely. To do this they would have to shut off the gas for the work it takes to do this. You would also see where they dug up your gas line in your yard. This is something only a professional would even attempt. Your neighbor more than likely would blow things up before he could manage this. If you still think they have done this, call your power/gas company and ask.

I highly doubt it but, if it's a LP tank gas and you were away for the week-end I suppose they could have dug up the line. If so, I would check for any digging and if I found another line tapped into mine I would call the cops, this is stealing. If it's a utility company it's highly unlikely due to the pressure it's under and the danger involved but? call the utility and explain it to them.

I doubt it, but the utility company might check it for you if you ask.
They might even be able to tell you how it's done. You can't do it without shutting off the gas that's for sure. See if you can see the entire gas run from your meter to where your appliances are connected. Question any unidentified pipes.

Good Luck ! !

I doubt it but to put your mind at risk turn off all your gas appliances at the appliance, including all pilot lights. Then observe your gas meter after about an hour. If the reading hasn't change you know that there is no problem.
