No it won't damage any thing as long as you drain the system as soon as possible. I don't believe people still try this crap at this stage of computer information. Get a locking gas cap (cheep as dirt) and put a decal on your window saying " Video surveillance". If there stupid enough to believe sugar is enough to destroy a car, than there dumb enough to believe that.

You probably can't destroy an engine with sugar. You can, however, do a pretty thorough job on the fuel system, including the pump, lines, filter and maybe even the injectors or carburetor. However, you shouldn't have to worry about internal engine damage as the car will stall long before any serious damage has been done. The fuel system can be replaced, relatively inexpensively. Best thing to do? Go get a locking gas cap or buy a vehicle with a cable-release gas door. Problem solved!!

dont start the car or even turn key in on position doing this will allow the fuel pump to pump gas into the gas lines clogging your fuel system if gas proceeds to the engine the sugar will burn everything up have the car towed to the nearist shop have the gas tank flushed and have a new fuel filter put on.

Yes. If you already tried to start the car you have sugar and water in your fuel lines probably all the way up to the engine. if this stuff is all the way up, you may get away with a fuel system flush, it may clog up the fuel injectors and you may need to replace the whole fuel system, possibly the engine. Sorry, but this is why people do this stuff. Find out who did it then kick their *** and make them pay for it all. Go see a mechanic.

no it will not destroy any thing....however you will have to flush the tank (and fuel lines if you started it or even turned on the key). Other then being a pain in the but to deal with...the car is not damaged. sorry about that happening to you...some people are just ***holes
Mike...scar the pistons?...lol...could you maybe explane this? I would love to read how this will happen...lol

Can't run on water, and sugar is a no no. Get it out of there as quickly as possible. If you can't get all the water out of it, put some alchol in which will absorb the water. Sugar is definitely no good.

You can buy a gas lock for your gas tank. Go to a auto place and they can sell you one for your make and model. I bought one for my car and nobody can get into it without the key.

i own a repair shop, and if driven enough it can do a lot of damage to it,and it may have already done a lot to it,,but i would get the tank off of it,and start cleaning everything about the fuel system on it,and it will also clog up the injectors on it also, either way its going to cost a lot of money to repair,,but you might have gotten lucky,if it had an old filter on it ,this might ave stopped a lot of it from getting to the engine,,good luck,i hope this help,s.,,PS i have repaired a ;lot of them that have been sugared ,and don't let no-one tell it wont hurt it,,because it will i have seen it up close,,good luck.

it wont hurt anything if you hadnt started the car yet.just drop the tank and clean it out and unhook the fuel lines up to the rail and blow out the lines, then install and get some good gas.
