You can trust NO ONE! people always let you down in the end or at some point!
Lets face it most people are selfish!

ALL people are selfish but to different extents
if somebody let you down it doesn't mean you should completely stop trusting people - just be more careful who you trust next time

I agree with that to a point out of everyone in the world I trust 2 people with all my heart my mom and my grandma but other than them I try not to trust anybody because it's always been my experience that they always let you down

No you cant trust anyone. Everybody is a counter in monopoly (sori for the bad comparison) and they're all after the same thing and will do whatever they can to get it. Even though we moan about people letting us down and being selfish we will do it at some point without realising

You can trust yourself and you can allow yourself to trust. No one is perfect, and even you let others down who have trust in you. I agree that a lot of people seem selfish, but I don't know that many people.

I do agree because it is very easy to let someone down without knowing you are doing it, even easier if you do it on purpose (we know y'all carry grudges so don't pretend you don't). But i think you need to just surround yourself with people you either mostly trust or people you trust to mess you about and so are prepared for it, and just hope for the best.

I feel a bit sorry for you if this is your view. There are some bastards about (the cowboy builders who rip off older people, the carer who used to steal from my nan, the morons over the road who used to set fire to their car to amuse themselves), but there are lots of nice people too.
I heard about an experiment somewhere where they left 20 wallets around a city and they were all returned, which shows there are some decent folk around.

Well I think that you have answerd your own question by saying MOST people are selfish. I do think that your right in some ways but I think that there is some people out there who are good people.

I disagree. My parents have NEVER let me down, they have always been there for me. They are the least selfish people I have ever met.

i'd say that for most people you're right but there are some people you can trust! i can trust my mum and my best friend! but apart from that everyone else is just out to screw you over!
