I havent seen a good one in a long time but silver bullet is pretty good, american werewolf in london is another, they just dont make scary movies like they use to. Pet semetery, pumpkin head LOL hellraiser, the entity, poltergeist, amityville horror, texas chainsaw masacre, night of the living dead (old one) there are so many but i like to read scary books nothing like your imagination playing tricks on you.

Hey
I love horror films, infact they are my fav type of films. Salems lot is a good film, but not really scary, to be honest there arnt many scary films about, even the old ones. I see someone has mentioned Saw, yes fantastic film, but its not a horror, its more gorey than anything.

There is a film, thats not scarey as such, well it used to be when i was younger, but its is eerie, its called The Haunting (they made a remake a few years ago, i think with catherine Zeta Jones) the remake is nothing like the original, the original is a black and white film, and was made in sumet like the 60s, but its fantastic, some people really like it, others dont, i have it on DVD as it is one of my all time favourites, but i agree the remake is trash. Obviously all the old classics are fantastic, like Halloween, Friday 13th, nightmare on Elm Street, but i would just watch the original Haunting, let me know what you think.

Hey dude! You need to look at a calender. Halloween was like over 2 weeks ago!! Thanksgiving is in just a few days! I could reccomend several great horror movies to watch on Halloween, but I doubt you'd still remember any of them a WHOLE YEAR FROM NOW! LOL! Now, If you want a good horror movie to watch on Thanksgiving, I'd suggest 'Happy Birthday To Me'. :-)

Theres:
The entity-a true ghost story about a woman who gets raped by a poltergeist(its kinda old though)
The Haunting- another true story about a family who move into a new house only to find various ghosts haunt it.
The haunting of hill house-the original black and white film with Claire Bloom
japanese film-The eye-about a girl who gets an eye transplant and sees ghosts
IT-the killer clown

I have just finished watching Stephen Kings "IT" - A Classic.

My favourite horror film is Rosemary's Baby.

Check out Rotten Tomatoes film review site. Its the most highly acclaimed Horror folm EVER.

ITS AWESOMELY FREAKISH!

Heeheehee Salem's Lot.
That's so not scary. I mean, sure it tries to be, but nah.
Scary is in the eye of the beholder. Find something that truly terrifies your friend, and suggest a movie with a similar theme.
Like, fear of clowns, IT. Fear of dogs, Cujo. Fear of spiders, Arachniphobia. Whatever.
