Andrew Gold - brilliant song.
His mum (Marni Nixon) is a successful singer in many films, including 'West Side Story' and 'The King and I', where she sang the lead-role parts which the actresses then mimed to.
Liz_Clack1 and Diane G answers below - the Paul Anka 'Lonely Boy' is a different song.
