I have tried all types of topics to get the conversation going but this 14 year old girl is the most boring person on the planet, she has absolutely NO INTEREST in anything I have been suggesting. I have to spend 2 hours of conversation with her daily and she just sits and stares at the blank wall. I already tried reading stories, internet games, fashion, music, cookery,sports,pets,travel,beauty,friends interests, school subjects,family,history,holidays,books,science ...what else? help

Forget conversation, just go for a walk with her and enjoy the silence and her company, she will eventually make a comment on something which you can either answer or remain silent to let her develop her idea.
It is possible that she is suffering from depression, or similar,and doesn't know how to communicate her feelings, if she even understands her feelings. When you keep trying to initiate conversation you are not giving her a chance to assimilate her emotions.
If you work in a school ask if you can attend a counselling course.

well you dont say wether she is a pupil of yours or a friend either way she obviously deosn`t want to talk ( elective mutism) in this case you have to avoid building a silent relationship, talk to her as if she has always spoken to you, answer your own questions as if you are in a genuine conversation with her, this takes an enormous amount of patience on your part, also using the repetitive questioning technique, building the speed of the questioning, but always the same question,leaving just enough of a gap for the answer from her. when she does answer take it as the norm.

You haven't said what your relationship is to her .. teacher, parent, friend??
Ask her about herself. Try to find out what she is interested in. There must be a reason she is so unresponsive to you. Are you older than 14? If you are an adult, maybe she feels she cannot relate to you. Ask yourself, how would I have felt at 14, in this situation?

Well try talk less and she might be forced to speak try sports....and try to find out wat she does after skool like activities if she has none....ask her about her friends at skool if she doesnt friends she must do something in her free time its impossible 2 do noting....or ask her wat she is thinking about wen she doesnt talk.....and about boys dat should work.....well im out of ideas let me know how it goes....gd luck...and y do u hav to do this anyway?
