EBIT - Earnings Before Interest and Taxes

EBITDA - Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization.

So technically EBITDA is the profit from operational activities, but if you're working a homework problem, there's a good chance depreciation and amortization aren't mentioned, and therefore EBIT is the profit from operations.
