For instance - I just love heart shaped stones, BUT they must occur naturally, no hand shaping allowed!
Why? Heck if I know why - we hike a lot and I just find them!
I have literally hundreds of them...driving my husband nuts!

I collect christmas ornaments. I think that they are a fun item to collect, and I always try to pick one up when I travel out of state. Ive just found fun ornaments that I will know and remember where Ive been :)

I collect teapots. A few years ago my oldest son gave me a picture of a collection of teapots on an old buffet. He is 33 years old now and is 100% disabled; he was not able to go out and do any shopping for a present for me so he gave me the picture. I get very emotional when I look at the picture and think of what he did for me.

Both my husband and I love rocks and have rocks from all over the world. Since moving to Barbados have added sea shells to the list and that colletion is growing as well.
Why?, I don't know other than it is a mindless activity and we find it very relaxing - no thinking involved.
