Hahaha, he's just so darn likeable.
Think about it. The man has no redeemable qualities. He's a lying, conniving, double-crossing, selfish coward. Everything he does is self-motivated, and let's not forget he's just a plain cad.
But he's just so charming and you can't help but like the guy.
Captain Jack. He just rocks.

Great characterisation, Johnny Depp is a genius, the best actor in current times IMO.
I fancy Will Turner though, so you can have Captain Jack and I'll have will :D

Your affection for Jack won't bring you any closer to an interest in me. It doesn't say anything but that you love a character and the make-up job.

Um... I don't LOVE him, but I liked the first Pirates movie and I like Jonny Depp.
