It depends what mood I'm in. It can either be girls who are slimmer, younger, prettier than me...families that seem happier than ours...or people in their lunch hour's having fun and enjoying freedom (I don't work and have two young children). Other times I can see single mum's on benefits with badly dressed children...fat women with their partner dragging behind staring at anyone younger and slimmer...and people in their lunch hour's looking stressed and rushed, which then makes me feel grateful for being able to stay at home and bring up my children.

I see people with trolley loads of food, drink, clothes, flowers and newspapers and much more besides and then I see the poor with one small carrier bag with bare essentials to elk out the small income the gap is getting bigger between the have and have nots.
Small shops are closing because they cannot compete, most of the jobs on offer are not sustainable as they are part time and only suitable for parents that want part time work or can top up with family credits so if you are middle aged and need full time work you can't survive and because they change your shifts you are not able to take two different jobs.
If you live alone you have to buy multi packs of fruit and veg which you do not need.

Cars, shopping carts, cart corral, people walking by...actually if I'm sitting in the car I see the dashboard, the steering wheel, the rearview mirror, a smiley face air freshener & usually if I'm sitting there it's because I picked up photos at the photolab so then I'd be looking at my pictures (I can never wait til I get home!)
Why do you ask?
:)

I see the supermarket, trolleys, shoppers, a few trees, some litter and the occasional aeroplane.
I can also see some of the interior of the car, the dash, the windscreen.

I see people going about life like lemmings, buying the same things as everyone else, to have the same meals, wear the same clothes. People in pursuit of a lifestyle sold to them by the media.
Lol. I think I am in a rather pessimistic mood today!!

I see my place of work and wonder how many problems I'll have to deal with on that day. How many customers will be totally unreasonable and think that the store owes them something? How difficult are my staff going to be today, will they actually work? Will I ever leave on time? No wonder I hate shopping!!!

That would be dependant on where you look.
The store, the other cars, people with carts going to their cars,
people without carts going into the store, the sky and sometimes
trees and grass.
