i prefer reality myself, even if it is my own invention which i have access to in the most creative, direct, one to one sense.

Fiction will strong alliances to fact. For instance, books like "The Girl With the Pearl Earring," which take historical fact and create a piece of fiction inside the boundaries without bastardizing the reality of circumstance.

I am a fact kind of guy but I love a good story, so that's fiction. I guess it depends on the situation, but tell me a good story and I will be along for the ride.

I edit books for a small publishing company and have to read a lot of crappy fiction (second job). So, given the option, I love to read FACT: true crime, memoirs, biographies...bring on the truth!

both! depends if it's books or movies. sometimes facts are sooo interesting, like did you know the sound of E.T. walking was made by someone squishing their hand in jelly? fiction is nice, 'cause it can take you places!
