I had this happen to me in chorus class in high school. Be nice to her, and never resort to talking behind her back too. Be the better person. If she ever confronts you, though, explain that if she reacts this way to anyone that she perceives as being equal or better than she is at something then she is going to have one hell of a life. No one person is better than everyone at everything.

Keep your head in the air and flaunt it girl. She's the one looking like a fool,it's immature and if nobody sees anything that you're doing-then they are actually thinking she's crazy when she comes with her dumb mellow drama. Further more everyone already knows that she's jealous for talking about you so nobody cares but the talker. Never be insecure sweety,never, Go on now flaunt it. Toodles!

be higher then her, simply forget about her, you're right, if she's jealous than its her issue and just give her more things to be jealous bout by being the better person of the two and simply ignoring her. Anyone who tells you a lie she's told them about you, simply set straight and explain that it's just a silly little girl spreading rumors.

You ignore her and keep your head up, which makes her even more jealous of how you are. If you let it get to you, it shows she has won and conquered what she's been trying to do. If you act as though it's not effecting you and go about your daily life, eventually she'll give up and move on.

I think the best thing you can do is take the high road and resist the urge to gossip about HER in return. If the things she says about you are false, people will realize that--and she'll end up looking untrustworthy. People will stop listening to her.

You may not believe it because it sounds so ordinary, but the best thing to do is to ignore it. The more you pay attention to her behavior, the more power the stories get from your energy.
Don't try to pay her back, don't explain, just ignore her. She will have to find someone else to abuse.

ignore her words. she'll get tired of doing what she's doing evenutally - especially, if you don't add fuel to her fire. she'll find someone else to be jealous of and you'll have peace. you know you should almost be flattered, if it wasn't so annoying, because when someone is jealous of you, they usually want something you have or really be like you. so pay her no mind and be happy with yourself and with your true friends.

maybe you will just have to ask her what she is so jealous of you for in front of some people and ask her to back up her accusations
