I have a carhartt jacket that I just bought for $100.00. My seatbelt left grease streaks on the bottom left side on the pocket. What can I do to remove this stain?

Thanks

You could try either of these. The WD-40 version can be used on colors, the lighter fluid is only for whites. If you have a set in grease stain, spray the stain with WD-40 and let it sit about 20 minutes. Then, rub a dollop of liquid dish detergent (Dawn is a good one) onto the WD-40 stain and rub in well. Rinse and smear on a bit more dish detergent and then wash as usual. or Sprinkle a little lighter fluid on to the stain. If it is set already, work the it into the fabric. Then wash as usual.

You could try Spray N Wash, but the best for removing grease stains is a paste sold by Stanley Steemer. It's awesome. It can get anything out of anything. It comes in a jar and you just smear it on. I'm pretty sure you have to find a distributor to find it, but it's so well worth it.

You could start by cleaning the seatbelt, try Dawn dish soap first. Acetone cleans fabric, try using it on a hidden place first if you use that.
