It's fictional so it doesn't deserve all the hype that surrounded it and continues to surround it.

The book is overrated and the movie almost put me to sleep. There are plenty of other books that are worth reading more than The Da Vinci Code.

I think its a captivating story and very well built, to the point that generated religious discussions around the world! But other than the plot, I think that is very poorly written, "cheap mystery".

I think that the book raised some real valid points about the Roman Catholic church's treatment of women. Why can't they be priests? The book was great, the movie is horrible!

It's a work of fiction. There fore the only opinion anyone should
have is whether it is good or bad literature.

I thought it was a pretty boring, easy-to-guess-the-bad-guy mystery novel. It wasn't horrible really, but it wasn't that great either.
