Just but 1 foundation,don't mix.
I suggest you use either
Almay clear complection make-up or
CoverGirl clean oil-control make-up
in your right shades.
I hope that helps.

Ps. It also helps it you go by skintone&undertone.
Such as fair skin usally has rosy&bluish tones on the palm. So if it can blend w/ u're had perfectly,it should do
the same with your face.

Try Maybelline Purestay Powder Foundation(its in a grayish silver compact) great coverage and down on the shine. Stays on through a dive in the pool too.

Do you also use a concealor? That would help with covering. Foundation is designed to allow your face to show through and not be too mask-like. Also, applying a transluscent powder over the foundation would make it last longer. My only other advise would be to buy different foundation within your price range until you find one that works for you.

I use whipped mousse foundation $8, I can't remember who makes it and it doesn't last very long but it works amazingly well. Covers evenly and gives a nice glowing finish. I think it may be Maybeline b/c I don't spend much on makeup.

Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. If I were you, I'd go with a sheer look anyway. You really don't want a full coverage makeup if you're young. Good luck and show that beautiful face to the world!

Use a cover stick or cream where needed, pat it on, apply pressed powder carefully in the area, let "set" for a minute, then try cream foundation carefully, "set" with more pressed powder, applied in a "patting" manner.

if you want alot of coverage go with a cream base instead of liquid or put on pressed powder on top of the liquid.
