Environmental criminology: Committing crimes against the environment. Here are two examples.
1. Exxon was found guilty of negligence and environmental harm with the Exxon Valdeez ship,when it had a huge oil spill in Alaskan waters.
2. Saddam Hussein was found guilty of environmental crimes when he ordered his army to light Kuwait's Oil fields on fire in 1991.

Criminological Theories: A theory is a theory. You would have to prove something is a crime based on a theory, rather than fact.
