about two mins

Extraordinary isn't it? Answers seem to vary between 2 mins and 30 mins walk! It is no more than a few hundred yard. It is one stop on a bus (2 from the stop outside the Tabernacle, opposite the Northern Line station). It is utterly pointless getting the tube since Elephant is as near as any other station (Lambeth North may be equally close). I do wish people would only answer if they actually know what they're talking about......

well iv walked from elephant to the museum once and it took 20minutes

Why don't you just take the bus there?
if you jump on the 12 bus (the long snake ones)
and pray that there aren't any bus inspectors you can get away with a free bus fare ;)

trust me its not bloomin ages, its about 2-5 minutes. dnt take the tube its a waste of cash. When youre at the elephant and castle look for the college of communication, than walk down that road, and it will be on your left after about 300 metres.

hope you enjoy it, i havent been for ages - i think its free now aswell thanks to Red Ken our beloved mayor

It's 500 yards. 7-10 minutes, and some of that getting your orientation.

See their website, URL below.

Well worth a periodic visit. As are their other sites.
I'm nearest Duxford, where the new large hangar is just opening.

I dont think its that far - i passed it last night but difficult to judge how far cos i was in a taxi. Good idea to walk though, usually less hassle than transport!

It's about 20 - 30 minute walk. The Transport for London website http://www.tfl.gov.uk/ can give info on buses if you want to bus it. Don't tube it.

Blooming ages - take the tube! :)
