I boycott them because they are a bad employer and do not give employess benefits. I also do not like it that their clothes are made using sweatshops overseas and child labor. I also do not like it because they do not use American businesses and crowd out small business from a comunity.
I know some people boycott because they use illegal immigrants for some jobs like cleaning at night.
If you boycott walmart why do you do it?
I use Target and K Mart more, but target the most.
Has anyone read how walmart is destroying America the book or seen any of the films?

Mariposa and they will make sure no small business can compete near your home. Walmart has probably already taken out your small business and that is why you do not have it. Look up what your name means in spanish. It does not just mean butterfly.

I have read the book and seen the film High cost of Low prices. I boycott them because they send American jobs overseas. Because they treat their eimployees like crap. Because of the slave labor and child labor. They are very greedy and evil.
I am poor and thier prices are decent, but I just can't support the things they do.

Yes, I definitely boycott Walmart. I'm a former employee and I know how the company really is. The benefits are terrible, the pay is really bad, and you're treated like crap.
I live in a fairly small town and ,if I could, I would stop shopping at Walmart altogether, but at this time there is no other place that's only about a mile away from my house. However, we are getting a Super Target and an H.E.B. Plus(that's a Texas based grocery store) very soon. As soon as they are built my Walmart shopping days are over.

I shop at WalMart because I'm on a fixed income and I can afford their products. There are no Target or K Marts anywhere near but they are both more expensive with no better quality.

Yes, but I also hate KMart because they're now affiliated with Sears. That means if you buy a vaccuum cleaner you won't be able to get the bags for it without special ordering; you have to listen to a schpiel for the extended warrantee even if you're just buying tube sox; and six store clerks standing around but none of them allowed to help you. No, thanks.
Why I don't shop at WalMart
1. They will sell at a loss just to knock out the local businesses
2. They support slave labor
3. They support horrible pollution that's maiming newborns in China
4. I'm sick of paying for their employees' health care
5. I, for one, am not thrilled to own cheap crap that wears out just so I get to go shopping again.

I do not shop at Walmart; their hiring practices, treatment of their employees, and some sources of goods are questionable, at best. My son worked for them for six weeks and quit, and he's not a person who quits a job lightly; his treatment as an employee was awful, and he was asked to work overtime without pay. He was also discouraged from applying for benefits.

I do not boycott them, because they are the only store within 45 miles of my house.

No I do not boycott Walmart. If the employees think that they are getting treated so bad, then why do they still work there?
