add 4 to each side. subtract 7x from each side and ull get:

5x=-25

divde by 5 and ull get x=-5

if u dont know how to do these problems, high school and college math are going to be very hard for you. i would recommend learning how to do these, instead of having other people answer them for you.

For this kind of qestion you must isolate the variable
12x-4=7x-29 (add 4 to -29)
12x=7x-29+4
12x-7x= -33 (subtract 7x from 12x)
5x= -33 (divide by 5 on both sides)
your final answer should come out to have just one x
x= -6.6

12x-4=7x-29
You want to get all the variables to one side and the numbers on the other side. First get rid of the 4. Add 4 to both sides.
12x-4+4=7x-29+4
12x=7x-25
Next get 7x to the left. Subtract it form both sides.
12x-7x=7x-7x-25
5x= -25
You still have to get rid of the 5. Divide both sides by 5
5x/5= -25/5
x= -5

12x-4=7x-29
subtract 7x from both sides
5x - 4 = -29
add 4 to both sides
5x = -25
divide both sides by 5
x = -5

12x-4=7x-29
-7x -7x
5x-4=-29
+4 +4
5x/5= 25/5
x= 5

to find what x=, first you have to get the unknowns on one side and the integers on the other

to do this, add -4 to both sides, giving you 12x=7x-25

then subtract the 7x from both sides giving you 5x=-25

after that, it is a simple division problem- just divide both sides by 5

your answer comes out to be x=-5

subtract 7x from each side.
now you have 5x-4=-29(negattive 29)
then add 4 to each side.
you should have 5x=negative 25
then divide each side by 5
you should come up with negative 5

well u want the x's on one side right so this is wat u do:
12x - 4 = 7x - 29
12x - 7x - 4= 7x - 7x - 29
12x - 7x - 4 +4 = 4 - 29
5x=-25
5x\5x=25\5x
x=-5
