My best guy friend is the only person who knows that I have anorexia and bulimia and I think I'm getting worse. He's really over protective and yesterday I threw up blood, I want to tell him, but I'm afraid he'll get mad at me. Because I know I need help but I also don't know how to tell him.

What should I do?

And please, no answers about how I need help and am killing myself, the only thing I want to know is how to handle this particular situation.

Just tell him you love him ! No need to deny it any longer , he'll get the message.

Your very lucky to have a good friend becuz alot of people don't have good friends and it's good that he cares about you and doesn't want you to get hurt. Throwing up blood is a really bad sign so he has a right to be protective and scared. I think that you probably need someone to talk to and that your best guy friend is someone who you think will understand. But if he gets mad at you then he might not really undestand what ur thinking. It sounds like you know that your in truble but it doesn't seem like u want to stop either (but I only know a aparagraph about you). If you think he will get mad and you'll just get mad at his opiion then don't tell him but if he's th eonly person youcam talk to and you need his elp getting thru this then tell.

I know you said dont say "you need help" but you do. Bulimia is bad for your teeth, you esophagus and the rest of your body as well. Throwing up blood can mean that you have an ulcer or even something once. So yes. Tell him. Please.

It seems very important for you to let him know that you threw up blood. Are you subconsciously hoping he will force you to get help. Just tell him, and if he is your best guy friend, he will tell someone that is in a position to help you.

tell him you are ready to get help, because it sounds like you know you need some. gory details will make worry too much, as it sounds like he is already very concerned about you. Maybe you should reach out to other people so that your best guy friend doesnt have to carry the full weight of your problems ALONE right now. goodluck, i wish you strength and know that you deserve to be healthy..

Just tell him.

I don't know why you think he'll get mad at you. I'm assuming that he already scolded you? If so, then i believe he's just concerned and frustrated that you refuse to get professional help.

If he is really a friend, he WILL be a friend when you tell him.

GOODLUCK!!!

i do not understand why it is so hard to tell, him. maybe it's because you know that you should be taking better care of yourself. but the real problem is that you just want attention. go get help, and stop torturing the people that loves and cares for you. you have to love yourself. you need to stop pucking when you eat. haven't you noticed, men don't go just for skin and bones anymore. they never have, they're out of the closet baby, fat or rather healthy is in.

if he is that special to you why don't you take the advice he has obviously been giving you in the past , obviously he gives this advice because he loves and cares for you and i suspect if you had listened to him you might not be in this position where you would have to tell something that is going to worry and hurt him alot, AND I WILL SAY IT IF NOT FOR YOU THEN AT LEAST FOR YOUR FRIEND GO AND GET HELP NOW .

Well, you have to ask yourself if you are comfortable with him knowing. If you are afraid of what he will do or that you will not have his support, then that is a very important part of your decision. You should tell someone.
