well, i used to be very overweight as a teen, then at 18 dropped it all, left tons of stretchmarks on my hips, arms, shoulders, lower abdomen, breasts...i'm 22 now, i work out so i'm in good shape and i got the hourglass figure i've always wanted but those damn slivery streaks are still there. They did improve significantly over time though and they've always been silverish now they're fading a little to something closer to my skin tone, but still noticeable under bright lights.
The thing is u gotta moisturize everyday after the shower, preferably using something with cocoa butter in it, and do a whole body scrub three times a week to slough away the dead skin cells. They won't go away completely but will make them appear smoother and less indented....also by moisturing everyday (u dont need to use scar creams, just any rich moisturizer) and doing the body scrubs, u could prevent new ones from coming. I also found that taking Zinc supplements helps improve the appearance and prevents new ones (go to your nearby drugstore forthis, its also great for any kind of skin problem). Take other supplements that are good for skin like Vitamin C, A and E too. Drink lots of water. If overweight, exercise and eat lotsa veggies, green leafy kinds are especially good for the skin. You can take steps now to prevent new ones since u are still 14!
Btw...please try not to be too insecure about it...i feel ur pain, and have been at that point in my teens where i felt so insecure, ugly and cried myself to sleep every night over this. But now, it's all cool...my bf lovingly calls me 'his sexy tigress' and isn't a bit bothered by it...hehe...well i say as long as u keep ur skin soft, smooth, smelling good and well cared for the best way u can, and as long as ur body is fit and nicely shaped...and if u've got a great personality to boot...stretchmarks don't mean a dam thing.
Good luck!

I know how you feel. I'm 17 and have these little veins on my thighs that seem to multiply every day, i hate them and I try avoid looking at them. it seems you have the same problem but with stretch marks. i think most girls have stretch marks on some part of their body and usually they fade with age, as you get older they turn more silvery rather than pink and kind of blend in with your skin. I've heard that coconut milk creams help make the stretch marks fade. they sell them in lotion like bottles, maybe you should try that. i hope you sort it out, i know how it feels and it makes it horrible to wear bikinis and short clothing, good luck!! and remember most people dont even notice them, that's hat i like to think about my veins anyway.

Umm stretch marks dont go away. I have had two kids. They have PREVENTATIVE cream, like coco butter and such, but once they are there, they stay. They do lighten with time, or when you tan. But I am sorry to say they dont go away. There is a laser that can help regenerate cells to grow in the stretch marks. To kind of fill them in. But that too is something, that isnt full proof. Sorry for the bad news. I have them too.

sadly stretch marks are not zits that disappear after a day or two. in some cases they may not. ive heard tales of using cocoa butter, but they didnt work too well for others i know, however they may work for you. you should continue to follow through with your doctor and see if he can come up with a solution.

you should use a product called Bio Oil, it fades most kinda of scars and stretch marks, you can get it from the pharmacy and it's pretty cheap, that coca butter doesn't work for everyone, I've heard people tell me it's a waste of money.

i think you need to go work out at the gym and after a while you need to buy some kind of cream because if you don't do any of this your realy going to look messed up.
