Its kind of strange, because if he wears any other regular diaper besides Huggies his rash gets worse. What do you think it might be?

I'm thinking about switching to a cloth diaper service, or using the Tushies, Seventh Generation or Tender Care diapers?

Go to cloth. It seems a real drag but I had diaper service for my son. He had fair skin and would literally blister as the diapers such as Pampers etc. would hold too much heat in because of the liner. It worked for me and hopefully for you. The cloth is much friendlier on their skin. (D)

It's the diapers, the only ones my kids could ever wear were Huggies or Pampers. Nothing generic, or store brand. You're not nuts but I don't think cloth diapers are necessary, just keep him coated with something good like aveno diaper rash care, or johnson and johnson's 3 in 1 diaper care cream. These are the best.
Keep up the good mom work by being aware of even the small things.

I had to use cloth diapers on my son. It was not a problem and he stopped getting rashes after I started laundering the cloth diapers.

Too many chemicals in paper diapers

my son is only allergic to no name brands .. not to pampers ... i tried cloth diapers .. overall they are they best for your son .. and heathier.. but there is one down fall that we all hate ....cleaning the cloths daily .. or they \will stink up the whole house... i kept a bin for them and at the end of the day washed them ... i bought just regular white heavy cloth for obsorbtion and then bought plastic underwear to hold in the moisture .. it all works .. and no rash no bleading ever again... good luck ..
