There is this job I interviewed for, then they gave me a drug test and told me what I would be paid for the job and said they would call me to set up everything after the drug results came back. So after 5 days they finally called, but I wasnt home at the time, so I called them back. And ever since it seems like they avoiding me. When I called, shes says "Give me a minute and I'll call you back" so I stayed home all day waiting for her to call and she never did, its happened twice since I have dealt with her. Is this a mind game to tell me that Im not wanted or what? What are your thoughts?

This happends to my husband all the time. I think it's a game they play to say they don't want to hire you. I think every person should deserve a Job or career.

what you should do is go there and tell this woman that you would like to speak to Mr. so and so (whoever it was that interviewed you). then i would say that you have tried repeatedly to contact them regarding the drug test and that the secretary said she would call back and never did. so you thought you would just stop in as to not disturb the secretary and speak with Mr. so and so.

Just forget about them and look for others .. never get your hops up so much .. beleive me this way it's better .. u will get a job when u least expect it .. happens to me all the time ..

They are planning on not hiring you or only hiring you if their first choice declines the offer. I would look for seomething else.
