In Dreamweaver I can add a "behavior" to a link that will open a new browser window and allows me to set the window properties. Can I create a button in Flash, Fireworks, or anything else that will include that behavor as well as the embedded link?

You can do that with a scrap of javascript. To make a link open in a new, sized window:

The numbers are height and width respectively. I inserted a space in that line to make it show up on YA.

This can be done very easily using Java. I use such a script on my own website. You can not only control the size, but where it appears on screen as well as what options the window has. (i.e. address bar, file menu, status bar, etc.)

Go to the popup section of javafile.com to see a whole listing of different windows.
