what is nobility of bearing and how does lancelot fit that description?

It means he was an impressive man to meet. He gave of an air of being noble, probably both politically and in his treatment of others. He was, in public at least, very polite and very adherent to his personal honor.

Upon further examintaion of the Arthurian texts however it does become apparent that he wasn't quite so honorable as he at first appears.

One of those people that looks like a really great guy, who you get the "he can do anything" impression from, but then turns out to be kind of a dirty cheat once you get to know him

Sir Lancelot was a big time skirt chaser and some of the things he did and the betrayal of his friend should a sure you that that he is not fit to be a carrier of that title........................ Sir Lancelot was a real bow-wow in his time lol.................

I said yes sir once on the phone and it was a woman and I felt terrible. I still feel bad for saying it. not sure why i can't let it go. its like I can't believe it was a woman on the phone.
