Well, my simple answer is this...........It is not my place to judge others.........Society as a whole judges everyone and what they are wearing, or should wear.......what they eat, where they can smoke,........etc..........
While the Bible is written by 12 men who were disciples of God.
and wrote in HIS words.........
If movies I saw years and years ago were taken from the Bible, then men in the movies who portrayed disciples also kissed out of love for each other as fellow disciples. Did that mean they were gay? I don't know........It is not for me to judge......And I also don't care about other peoples lives.......out of respect I mean.... I think once a gay person comes out of the closet, so to speak, then they are asking for ridicule the rest of their lives...The majority of society believe it is wrong. So why cause that pain to yourself......keep it private, for private sake........

While the Bible does say a couple of things discouraging men to be together, this is only a small part of a very big book. Also these are laws given to the Hebrews, not necessarily to anyone else.
It is interesting to notice some of the other things that the Bible either condones or forbids.
For example, God did not seem to have a problem with Lot and his daughters having sex. Leviticus forbids men to have sexual relations with lots of women (their mothers, their sister-in-law, etc.) but never says not to have sex with their own daughters.
And I don;t believe the Bible ever says anything about two women together being wrong. Probably because back then nobody cared what women did as long as they had lots of babies and didn;t make trouble.

I think its sad that they haven't taken the time to read their own book and puzzle things out for themselves.
Most often, Leviticus is quoted. Yet Leviticus also condemns the wearing of mixed fiber, eating shellfish, touching the flesh of a pig on Sunday (football), etc. But these things are condoned, while homosexuality is condemned.
There are over 600 admonishments to heterosexuals, yet only 6 to homosexuals. That doesn't mean God loves heterosexuals less, they just need more supervision.

Homosexuality is not unlike any other sin. Most sin is not regulated by the government none that do not violate someone elses civil liberties should be legislated. God gives us all an opportunity to do with our lives as we see fit. We live under the grace of God. He will decide when the time for judgement comes and untill that day we all have free will to make our own choices and when his judgement comes it will be God who judges and not me.

God never mentions homosexuality, leviticus (the most frequently cited passage) is actually a list of mans laws at the time, it says to lie with a man as with a woman is an abomination pretty clear cut, or is it? it also says to wear 2 types of cloth or to plant 2 crops in one field are abominations to god. it tells how to treat slaves, how to kill adulterous wives and disobedient children (stoning) not to eat shellfish (abomination) and ploygomy is the norm, obviously nothing we still hold to, except as an excuse for the hatred of gays, its the christain fanatics grasping at straws. the other is soddom and gommorah, the men asked lott to send the angels out so they may know them, he offered his daughters instead (as was custom) but no one seems to mind that, the cities were destroyed for inhospitality. there was no word for homosexuality even in existence at the time.oh and by the way, as his wife was turned to salt lott slept with his daughters as was custom, but that doesn't seem to bother bible thumpers either......things that make you go HHHMMMMMMMMMM!

We cannot say for sure if God like homosexuality or not. We cannot be sure if Bible is really the word of God.

Seriously, who do some gay men and women push themselves to the religion sector.
I mean, why would I push myself into these group of people who wants me dead and condemned to burning in hell for all eternity?

I tolerate them...they have every right to their own opinion. They do not have the right to force their beliefs on me.

It seems like a good enough reason for me. God is my friend. I don't like what my Friend doesn';t like.

My "feelings" are that If that is their belief then THEY should not do it. It's none of their business what I do and should remain so.
