Besides bringing a Pecan Pie to Thanksgiving, I am thinking about making a Lemon Meringue pie also. Would that be weird for Thanksgiving?! (My mom already has Pumpkin Pie covered.)

Sounds perfect to me...I am NOT a Pumpkin Pie, Mince Meat Pie, or Apple pie freak....a Lemon Merangue sound great. There is no reason to think that other things do not work for eating at Thanksgiving. I am thinking of making a cake this year instead of pie...hell, who has room for all this stuff anyway? Good luck (please make to of them, send me one...I love Lemon !

There are no pie rules and the pie patrol will not be enforce Thanksgiving day dear. You bring what makes you happy and you know will be eaten. Food is food and we should not be afraid of being different. Kudos to you!

you have perhaps under no circumstances heard of this yet Mock Cherry pie is our kin's renowned. this is made with cranberries and raisins. Very old recipe and scrumptious. I placed a lattice proper on and this is somewhat rather.
