Yes you can get Incapaicity benefit for a year and then go on ato claim disability allowance. You need to get certifictes from your GP for the first 6 months, then a MED 4 form and eventually you'll go onto disability without the certs xx

Being located in a SPED college room won't entitled a individual to SSI advantages and has not something to do in getting SSI or not. What the SSA looks at is the SEVERITY of the incapacity and if the incapacity PREVENTS the guy from working. SSI is for extreme Disabilities basically and the Disabilities which you defined are easy. Language incapacity, deficit in short term auditory memory, and continuously scoring under typical on diverse exams in diverse matters won't preclude a individual from working sooner or later. a individual with those Disabilities can nonetheless artwork sooner or later. a individual can nonetheless artwork as a Janitor, as a Grocery Cart Collector individual at keep, as a Dishwasher, and etc with the easy Disabilities which you defined.

Yes, you should be intitled to disability if your injury is making a major negative impact in your life. Talk to your doctor he will be able to verify to SSA that your symptoms are from the accident and how they impact your life. Contact SSA and request a form to apply for disability. Don't be surprised if they don't give it to you the first time you apply(they hardly ever do). When you get the letter stating you don't qualify, appeal it right away. The next step will most likely be them asking you to see one of their doctors. Do so. Also if your not seeing someone for your concentration and anger problems you should start now. Go to a therapist. The more documentation you have from doctors, therapist, psychiatrist the better. Hope this helps and good luck. P.S. you can also go on line to socialsecurity.gov and get the forms to start a claim there.

screw incapacity benefit, if this is going to be permanent than you need to get disability living allowance. Just ring them up 08457123456 ask for the form, and you can get citizens advice to fill it out, or ask the council or even a social worker. Truast me dont do it yourself, get someone who knows what to write down to do it, as you may leave loads of inpotrtant info that you thought wasnt relevant out.

DLA does not count as an income, so it will not get in the way of any other benefits, or salary. You continue to get this benefit even if you are working, and it willl strenghten a claim for incapacity ben if you choose to get it. ALSO if you do work you will be able to get disablity tax credits on top of any other tax crdds, so if you got kids for example you may get DLA, dis tax credits and child tax credits.

The fundamental differnece between incapacity and DLA is that an incapacity is not permanet, and a disability is - also if you get this benefit than you get other thintgs associated with it, e.g. if you live in london, a free travel pass, and massive cab discounts or a diabilty rail card... and other stuff.

if you want more help or advice than email me.

Trust me its worth looking into, and another small bit of advice. A bit of exageration never hurts an application - know what im saying.
