I stained my khakis with this curry imitaion kind of liquid, I dont have lemon, and ive already tried soaking it in hot water, none of that works! So ive decided to try and bleach it. Will it work or will it look weird? If no, then what should i do to get it out? I need answers! PLEASE!!!

Bleach will lighten the area you put it on, so it would leave a lighter spot on your khakis even if the "spot" came out.

I always suggest liquid dish detergent for any food related stain. Dish detergent is especially formulated to break down food. When I first heard that suggestion, it made so much sense! I just put a few drops on the stain (dry clothing) and scrub it in with my hands, sometimes using a brush, rinse and do it again if the stain persists, but lightens. Then wash as normal.

If it was an oil-based stain it would have been better to have put some powder (like baby powder) or dry cornstarch on the oily spot and let it sit a few minutes. You will see the powder begin to absorb the oil, brush it off, and repeat. Then do the dish detergent idea and wash as normal.

Generally, hot water is not good for most stains. And a hot dryer tends to "set" stains.

Good luck and God bless you.

I bleach my khaki colored pants and shorts all the time. I tend to use the ultimate care clorox now instead of bleach because i dont believe its as harsh. Do not put your clothes in until your water and bleach are to designated level. For stains that are hard to get out, I would go with soaking in Oxi-Clean for several hours first, its the first choice for me instead of bleach.

thre is this product called Zout.. I find it has gotten things out that other products have not even set in stains.. bleach will discolor your pants. but they do make a type of bleach for colors but I would try the Zout first..
