The gravitational attraction at the surface of a body is proportional to its mass and inversely proportional to the square of its radius. Thus, bodies having the same density will have surface gravities proportional to the radius (since mass at constant density is proportional to radius cubed). The moon's radius is about a quarter of the earth's, and it is less dense to boot, so the moon's surface gravity is about a sixth that of the earth.

"Gravity" is constant throughout the Universe. The Force of Gravity varies according to the distance between two particles (bodies) and their masses. The moon's mass is much less than the earth's, so the effect of the moon's gravitational attraction on any particle (body) is correspondingly much less also.
The normal awareness we have of the concept of mass is when we talk about weight, which is the effect of a gravitational field upon mass. Hence, we can talk of "weighing" 1/6 as much on the moon as on the earth.

The moon is much smaller than Earth, so has less of a gravitational force. That's why the Moon revolves around the Earth- if it were bigger, the Earth would revolve around the moon.

every thing has its own gravity, even us, just the earth's gravity is so much bigger, it cancels us out.
And since the moon is so much smaller than earth, it can't pull as hard, less gravity
