i tried burning songs on a cd-r cd, but it skips when i put it on the car cd player. i thought it was just the one cd but so far all of them have done it. What could i do to prevent it?

how do you slow the burn speed?

This should be a CD-R. Try buring a new one, but select a slower BURN speed. If it comes up with 16X, then use 8X speed. Always cut the speed in half.

You also might need to get a CD Drive cleaning kit.

Sounds strange but try brining it at a lower rate. Say 24kb/s rather than the max (usually 48kb/s).

its possibel that your player cant play copied cds as not all players can.
