Slowly pull a little at a time back to slowly stretch the opening. Do not get cirucmcised, it sucks (first hand experience). Just slowly expand the opening by pullining the foreskin back until you feel slight pressure while erect, hold it for a little bit then just let it go back, keep doing this and in about a month you should be able to pull back your foreskin.

When your foreskin is too tight/narrow to be retracted all the way it's a condition called phimosis. In your case it isn't too bad and is nowhere near severe enough to warrant circumcision if you don't want it.

First try stretching exercises to "loosen" the foreskin. Basically, take two fingers and stretch the opening of the foreskin as far as it'll go without pain (like increasing its radius) by hooking a finger on either side. This is kinda hard to describe and may take a few tries to get right. Do this exercise for a few minutes each day for a few weeks to a month. Your foreskin opening should become large enough to allow you to retract it without issue.

If this doesn't work there are prescription creams that'll help, especially when combined with these stretching exercises. If this doesn't work after a month, then you might want to consider surgical alternatives (and not all of them are variations of circumcision). See the links.

As for the sensitivity, the more you expose it the less sensitive it'll be. It'll be annoying at first, but just expose it to the air for a few minutes. That's pretty effective if done for a few weeks. Once you're able to retract you will want to clean under the foreskin. When taking a shower just wash the area under your foreskin with water and mild soap as you would any other part of the body. If it's still too sensitive, just rinsing it with water should suffice for a while.

My ex-boyfriend had the same problem. He slowly stretched the foreskin over the head little by little consistently over a period of a year and now his foreskin is pretty loose. There are steriod creams that help the foreskin to stretch. A doctor knowledgeable about foreskin problems should be able to perscribe them to you, but otherwise any doctor you talk to will tell you to get circumcised. This is because circumcision is the only solution that most American doctors have to foreskin problems.

You should consider yourself lucky that you have a foreskin. The most erogenous zone of the penis, called the ridged bands, is found on the foreskin. You'll lose erogenous tissue and the glans of your penis may literally become numb if you get circumcised. I know men who experience numbness on their glans because of circumcision. Forget circumcision, it is not the answer to your problem. Surgery, whether on a penis or on another part of the body, is an extreme act that should be reserved for extreme circumstances.

You are very right to avoid mutilation!

Just keep up the stretching excercises, take your time, but work at it every day and after about a month retraction should be alot easier. To clean your glans (head of the penis) start out by just running warm water over it, after it gradually gets more used to being handled you will not find it painful.

Some of these posters like "peaches" and "blackbird" are either females that don't know a damn thing about owning a penis or are males that just don't know what damage has been done yet. Circumcision was started to lessen mans pleasure in sex, it did not have anything to do with hygiene then or now.

I know that you are getting mixed messages, pro and con on this issue.

I strongly urge that anyone who cannot clean under the foreskin because it is tight or highly sensitive may have phimosis and/or glans infection. You need to be circumcised as the best solution to your problems. Urologists do the procedure for a boy, teenager, or adult of all ages. You will have general anesthesia (put to sleep) or a local painkiller and a mild sedative to induce sleep. You won't feel a thing. There may be some discomfort (usually no pain) afterwards. Healing takes a couple of weeks. You are given a medication to prevent spontaneous erections. You will be able to pee OK.

You will like the results: easy to keep clean, full penile sensation, glans no longer hypersensitive, frenum (keep that), and shaft. Your woman lover will like it too to give head and to have a smoother intercourse with longer staying power by the cut male partner.

Go for it. It is a minor operation. Thousands of all ages have it done in the USA. It is cultural also widely practiced routinely by Jewish men and Muslims and about 85% of all American infant babies. It is NOT a mutilation. It could be considered as plastic surgery. You can pick the type of circumcision you want: e.g., high and tight, loose with a little more skin left, etc.

Go for it.

It is good that you don't want to get mutilated.Go to see your doctor if you cannot do it yourself,s/he may be able to give you advise on how to pull the foreskin back without the need to be cut.Take no notice of the "ladies"on here who, without even having one of their own, glibly advise you to have yours carved up

Go and get "circumcised", do it soon. As the longer you wait, the more prone you are to infection. This is not uncommon, I know what I am talking about. What has happened, is when you were younger, your mom didn't take the time to "teach" you to "pull back"! and this is the end result. It doesn't hurt anymore then going to the Dentist... and you will never enjoy sex if you don't get it done. I know, I worked in Recovery.... bad time to get it done, on your Honeymoon! LOL - Good Luck, and Keep It To Yourself, something like this - the other "guys" will Never let you live it down. Trust me, they will still be teasing you at 70! I know....

i cannot help on that

but you sould consider a surgery, it does not hurt that bad, recovery time is a few days, is is cheap and covered by insurance, isn't complicated, and can be done by a local urologist or doctor

I had a similar problem, and I know what you are experiencing! Believe me, no solution to that and a better sexual relationship will be after circumcision. Circumcision is not painful at all,and in one week you can have sex. So please go for circumcision when you still have time. I did it at 15.

circumcision is your answer and it won't hurt while they do it.

For 3 weeks you'lle be swollen and sore but not in any real Pain.

do it and you'll enjoy your prick so much more and sex will fell so good when you enter a vagina. Andthe head of your prick will be less sensitive and easy to keep clean.

do it while you're young and enjoy your dick.
