It All Depend On Da Baby If Its Just A Couple Of Months Give Da Baby Gerber Rice Cereal But If Da Baby Is Like About A Year Well U Can Give It Any Kind Of Cereal But You Can Follow It With A Bottle And They Will Fall Fast Asleep.

There are so many brands out there it is hard to give just one- but if its the best you are looking for go for an organic one. That would be "best" even though Gerber wouldnt hurt- kids have been eating it for decades and still surviving.
Now to give a bottle after really depends on you and your child. If you make the cereal a little thick then you may want to give water, deluted juice or some formula/milk afterwards. If you make it like soup (which really is hard for the baby to tongue it around his/her mouth) then they may not need it. If the child is six months or more you can start offering a sippy cup with juice in it- when I worked in a nursery on base we started offering sippy cups when they could sit up in a high chair. And that was with every meal. Give it a try and see what your baby is interested in. They are all so different.

I don't recommend a specific brand of cereal. It is all personal preference but I do stick with the "oatmeal" You can either feed it to your baby before giving the bottle or you can put it in the bottle for younger babies. I usually mixed 3 scoops cereal (with the scooper for formula) to 3 scoops formula and filled the bottle up. That may depend on the age of your child though and how hungry he or she is.

If the baby is 4 months old you should try to mix infant cereal with some formula in a bowl and feed the baby off a spoon. It is NEVER recommended putting it into the bottle.

NO! Please do not put cereal in the babies milk bottle!!
If the child is not old enough to eat the cereal, like Cheerios are good for toddlers, then she does not need them in her milk.
She will get all the nutrients she needs from her milk, do not put cereal in the bottle.
When she is able to eat solids and finger foods then give her some cheerios to pick up with her fingers.

OK sorry, I read the question too quickly, I was panicking that you was about to put the cereal in the bottle as some moms do that. Whoops Sorry!!

I used Gerber cereals-Rice and Oatmeal and Barley.I started my son on cereal in a bottle first and then to cereal from a spoon.I would mix some cereal into his formula and he would love it.ou have to get a bigger nipple hole then normal so the cereal can get through-they make special cereal bottle nipples.

Use rice cereal as the first. It gets mixed with formula and I would give a bottle as well.

It depends on if youre talking about rice cereal or cheerios. My daughter LOVES cheerios as a snack. when I give her oatmeal cereal for breakfast I give her about 2 oz of cereal and 6 oz of formula because she normally eats an 8 oz bottle.

You put the cereal into the bottle to start with, on the box of cereal it will tell you how many tsp or tbs to use depending on ounces of the bottle.

you can use either Gerber or beach nut,(rice then barley then oatmeal) mix your cereal with formula or water in a bowl then in between spoonfuls of giving your baby cereal let him suck on his bottle. when your baby is older (6months+) you can let him/her use a sippicup in between spoonfuls

good luck!!
