I'm not sure who said it but I don't really agree with it. I would prefer to die without pain & with dignity. Even though you would still be dead, I wouldn't want to suffer during death. I also wouldn't want my family to suffer thinking about my death (if it had been violent for example). And as far as living goes, of course it's important how you live! There's more to life than merely existing! Life should be meaningful. It's not enough to just be alive. We have to make the most of our lives!

Whoever said this had a pretty bleak view of life & death I think!

"Nothing matters" is a lyric in a Metallica song, but anyone with taste would find this teenager's nihilism trifling in value.
