I think so. That was a great game between the two and it will be a legendary BCS game.

No. Although the game was very close and Michigan has a great team, at this point we have to just allow the fact that Ohio State is better. If a rematch occures and by chance Michigan wins, who should the National Champions be? Boths teams would have the same record and both had beat each other, if Michigan was named Champion it would be a huge controversy and would only hurt NCAA Football. Michigan got their chance to go to the National Championship game, they lost. It's now time for someone else to get their shot at Ohio State.

USC is 9-1 with games against Notre Dame and UCLA, Florida is 10-1 with a game against Florida State, Arkansas is 10-1 with one game left against #9 LSU, Notre Dame is 10-1 with one game left against #4 USC. Any one of these teams could end up with the same record as Michigan without already having lost to Ohio State. Is it fair to give Michigan a rematch when none of them have even gotten a shot?

And Michigan isn't the only team to keep it close against Ohio State, Illinois lost 17-10. If Illinois can keep it close any team in the top 10 have a chance to win.

I live in Columbus, so hell no...

Seriously, even if OSU lost by a point on a last second field goal, I would still say there should be no rematch. How can a team that didn't win their own conference play for a championship? OSU should play USC, if they run the table, or the winner of Florida/Arkansas, if they don't lose before the championship game. Now, if everyone loses, then Michigan has a say because I believe Notre Dame DOES NOT deserve to play for a National Championship. They got hammered by OSU earlier this year (the Fiesta Bowl), and was hammered by Michigan the 2nd or 3rd week of the season.

NO WAY, going into that game both teams knew that a win would put them into the BCS title game, Ohio State got it done and Michigan didn't, so why should they get a second chance? Besides, I can't stand when people like Mike Hart cry. He was quoted as saying " If we played again it would be a whole different game" immediately after the game. Well than why didn't they bring that different game last night? Too bad, ya get one chance you should make the best of it!!!!....should Notre Dame get a second chance at Michigan?

Most DEFINITELY! It was a very close game and even though Michigan now has a loss so do the rest of the top-rated teams. And if Michigan had lost like this to Ohio State early in the season and then risen to #2, no one would question the rematch.

yes they should and KARL C hit it right on the nose. there is not another team out there that can make it a competitve game. Not Florida, not Usc, not Arkansas. everyone wants to see a good game for the national championship not a blowout and if any other team besides michigan has to play ohio st for the title than they might has well sign it, stamp it and ship it right to columbus because it wont be a contest at all

BIG N - O! They lost, they got dominated, it was a boring game honestly. The only thing good about it, was watching an AWESOME QB named Troy Smith. In that game all it showed was that both teams defenses SUCK! With a 39 - 42 game it was just a battle of QBs and Troy Smith won that hands down. Ohio State has proven their offense is the best, now lets put them up against a team with a good defense and see how good they really are. A rematch would have the same out come. Not to mention I don't think it's fare to the other one loss teams.

Dedicated Florida FAN! GO GATORS!

of course. No other team would even make it a competitive game against the Buckeyes and Michigan did that. I definately DO NOT buy Florida which depended on the fingertips of a 6 foot 6 player in order to get by the gamecocks and they were playing in the swamp.

The only people or team that wants a rematch are the ones that were defeated by the other. I personally am against it and would rather see a SEC or Pac 10 team against OSU (Although UM & OSU may be the two best).

definetly the title game should be held between the 2 best teams and michigan is way better than USC or Notre Dame.
