Slimline ps2's?

is there a time limit to the amount of time you can play on a slimline ps2?

They recommend you give it a rest after 2 hours or so, but I've played mine for 8 or more hours without a problem. I'm not a big fan of the Slimline though.

I have never had a problem with playing mine for any length of time.
