Help with Science Project Application?

Question

My science project Question is: Does a plant grow best in sunlight ot artifical light? But I need help on my Application. How can this expirement help anyone or anything?

It can help scientists to know whether they can keep new gentically engineered plants (mainly vegetables) indoors and use artificial light, or whether they'd have to test the growth of these new breeds outdoors, and then determine the cots of doing so.
