i am at my happiest when its raining, the harder the better. is this some kind of medical condition ?

Me too! I think barometric pressure in the atmosphere may have something to do with it, we're sensitive to it or something. I also love the sound of rain falling, and thunder. Always have.
But when a storm is coming I get really wired and happy...like I say, maybe atmospheric pressure? I used to live in a tornado area and when everyone else was cowering in the basements I wanted to go outside! I didn't of course, but I Love storms!

I love the rain as well and people around me think that this is so strange. But why should it be different from liking sunshine? Water is so important for life and it is definitely refreshing.
Probably has more to do with thinking for yourself and not following the crowd rather than a medical condition.

I love the rain. It's nothing to do with a medical condition. Some people like it when its sunny others when it's snowing. It's like prefering a certain kind of music. It's just the what u like.

I hope not because I'm the same way.
I think we're probably just highly sensitive people who are deeply in touch with our gloomy sides.
Rain IS lovely, isn't it? I think one reason I love it so much is because it's cleansing and it drives most people inside.
My 2 year old daughter and I love to go play in the rain. Our neighbours think we're insane.
So at least there's 3 of us who have the same condition, if it is a medical one.

It depends on your psychological personality.
for example I feel very good when it rains and I some times go outside and dance under the rain but my wife doesn't like rain specially when we are driving...she gets real mad

it's really nice to watch the heavy rain from behind a window,while you are staying warm and secure inside your house..however walking in the heavy rain is bit lousy.

why is it that enjoying something and being happy is associated to a medical conditon? Dont you thing that happiness is your birthright? Whats wrong in being happy.
