Which is in firefox and Internet Explorer (IE) browses. But I often encounter errors as in the following:

"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly"

What can I do avoid this from happening? Thanks

There is a third option - use Thunderbird to download your e-mails. You can look at and use as many accounts as you want this way, and I find it a lot easier than logging in and checking for mail every time... just let Thunderbird run in the background and it'll check for new e-mails.
Less confusing too...
Make sure you follow their tutorial on how to set the settings in Thunderbird - there are some odd port numbers.

Once you log on, it remembers you if you open a different window of the same browser. However it is possible if you try it on different browsers! eg One account in firefox, one account in opera etc. But what I personaly do is to log on to just one and set the other email accounts to forward all incoming email to the first one!

Tools => Internet Options => Advanced --> Click On restore to default ..

I have the same problem and I have contacted their customer support and there is no way around it. They prefer customers only having one account. The same problem occurs when using gmail notifier.
