I want to try out for show choir in may for next school year, and i want to start looking for a song to sing. Can someone please give me ideas on a song to sing.

Try "Science Fiction Double Feature" from the Broadway soundtrack of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It's great. If you can pull that off I guarantee you'll be in.

America the beautiful, that's what i sang when i tried out for, elementary school choir( i got in), winter musical choir( i got in), and Barbershop courtet ( i didn't get in but hey it worked for all the other ones). So I think you should use it, it worked for me and when i tried out they said i had good range, and they placed me as an alto. ; )
